Heatherwood is nestled in a charming residential setting in Burke, Virginia.  Here, you’ll thrive in a warm and gracious setting, surrounded by neighbors and staff who will come to feel like family.  You’ll also have peace of mind, knowing that we’re a Retirement Unlimited community, family-owned and operated in Virginia with a proud 35+ year tradition of providing exceptional care for senior adults.

Heatherwood offers both Independent Living and Assisted Living throughout the community, which means when a resident requires additional services, they don’t need to move from their apartment!

The wellness team at Heatherwood consists of Licensed Practical Nurses, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week; and, Certified Nursing Assistants, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  Heatherwood has on-site physical, speech and occupational therapy and additionally, a physician office suite utilized by an Internist, a Dentist, and a Podiatrist.

Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, wall-to-wall carpeting and plenty of closet space.  Our full-size kitchens are just one of the things that help set the tone for a comfortable close-knit retirement community where lines often blur between friends and family, staff and residents.
