There are plenty of active seniors out there who are ready, willing and able to take on the world—with just a bit of help. If you’re living a mostly independent lifestyle, but you could use an extra hand with some of your day-to-day activities, Brookdale Oceanside with both assisted living and memory care could be right for you.

You’ll have the care you need if you need it so you can focus on the fun. You could start your morning with coffee in the courtyard before joining a Flex Your Brain session. Or how about a creative writing class? Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn Spanish. Now you can. How about some game time with board games, cards or bingo? And don’t forget to stop by one of our wine and cheese socials, too. You can be as involved as much or as little as you choose. If you need to run errands but you don’t like driving in traffic, use our transportation services to get you where you need to go.

For memory care residents, we offer a program, also known as Clare Bridge, rooted in “a person-centered approach,” which means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are.

The Daily Path is an evidence-based approach that offers a gentle daily structure of six planned programs per day, which maintain our residents’ abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. These include discussions, brain games and our B-Fit program. Walking club, karaoke, and gardening are just a few of the activities available for our memory care residents.

So go ahead and take a tai chi class or join your friends for a movie night with popcorn. We’ll take care of the rest so you can focus on fun ways to spend your day. Your basic utilities and maintenance are all included so you’ll have fewer bills to worry about, and you’ll also find comfort knowing that staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Plus, you’ll have several floor plans to choose from and our pet-friendly apartments have great window light, too.
