UniHealth Post-Acute Care Low Country UniHealth Post Acute Care of the Low Country has a professional staff that is dedicated to providing appropriate post-acute and traditional nursing home care that transitions patients home or offers a longer term experience when needed. We will provide you care and services with an extra warm and personal touch. Our 104 bed skilled nursing facility contains a 20 bed Transitional Care Unit which is a State-of-the-art suite of private rooms outfitted with the latest equipment offering care for post-acute patients that will be rehabilitated and transitioned home. Our rooms are newly renovated with upscale furniture and electric beds. We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. We offer security protection through the Wander Guard system. We recently have received the Accelerated Care Plus system which includes Electrotherapy, Ultrasound, and Shortwave Diathermy.
