Sentara Village - Virginia Beach At Sentara Villages, older adults will enjoy comfortable, private and semi-private accommodations, social activities and the companionship of good friends in a cheerful home-like setting. Attentive staff provide for their every need, and supervised nursing care is on site 24-hours a day. Because each Sentara Village shares its campus with a Sentara Nursing Center, a resident's future need for higher levels of nursing care will not thrust families into the dilemma of searching for another facility. Should a move to nursing center care be necessary, the resident's familiarity with the Sentara campus setting eases the transition. The Sentara Village at Virginia Beach is an 86-unit assisted living facility with 50-person adult day health care program. Opened in February 1992. All rooms have individual climate controls, cable television and telephone hook-ups. Residents have access to both an enclosed outside courtyard and an extensive walking path that winds throughout the surrounding wooded grounds. Three healthy, home-cooked meals are provided each day.
