Palm Lake Village Palm Lake Village* is a 55 and over community. There are 475 one-story, one and two bedroom garden-style apartments. Section 8 vouchers are accepted. Monthly rent payments are as follows: One Bedroom: $440.00 per month, with a $250.00 required security deposit. Two Bedroom: $505.00 per month, with a $300.00 required security deposit. Monthly rent includes: water, sewer, garbage, lawn care and pest control. In addition to monthly rent, the tenant is responsible for electricity, telephone and cable. Pets are permitted. A new state-of-the-art community center recently opened to residents in October of 2009. The facility includes includes a new clubhouse, pool and gardens. The clubhouse has a main hall, game room with library, full kitchen, laundry facilities, and small office where residents will be able to access the internet. A gazebo and veterans memorial is the highlight of the park-like gardens that surround the complex. A pool, which is ADA-compliant, was requested by Palm Lake Village residents completes the new center. *Palm Lake Village is owned and operated by the Palm Lake Village Corporation, a Florida corporation, and is managed by the Pinellas County Housing Authority. |
