Juniper Village at Aurora has been recognized by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America as an AFA Excellence in Care Giving community, the first and only community to receive this award to date in Colorado. Juniper Village at Aurora is a caring assisted living community for individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias. Our Wellspring Memory Care program offers a life-affirming, therapeutic environment where we emphasize strengths and support wellness. We provide a wealth of activities to help each individual stay fit and connected socially. Our unique programs are designed to integrate families and a diverse network of health care providers into the fabric of daily life. Home to approximately 52 individuals, our residence features four uniquely decorated house areas, each with it’s own living room, dining room, kitchen and private bedrooms, with private bath. Each house opens into the central "Town Square" where the day’s activities beckon, including the Town Hall Activities Room, Art Studio, Quiet Haven, Sweet Shoppe, Exercise/Spa/Massage Suite, and Resident Office. And for added peace of mind, the building and grounds are fully-secured with an integrated resident-to-staff call system, and exterior door security system.

  • Family-style dining and snacks available 24 hours per day
  • Our Connectionssm Activities program, offering therapeutic and diverse recreational and leisure activities, including music and art therapy, professional entertainers and weekly exercise program.
  • Specially-trained, licensed nursing professionals on call 24-hours per day, with ability to accommodate aging in place. In addition, a medical doctor and other licensed health care professionals specializing in Alzheimer’s Disease provide staff education and clinical oversight to our care policies and procedures.
  • Scheduled transportation services for doctor’s visits, outings and special events
  • Juniper’s standard Wellness and Complementary Therapies Program. Additional Wellness and Complementary Therapies available on a fee-for-service basis.
