Emeritus at Sherwood Place Just two stories, our retirement community offers 80 spacious senior apartments, including studios, alcoves and one-bedroom units. All apartments include a small kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, a private bathroom – some wheelchair accessible – and are decorated in lovely warm colors that get many compliments. Our cozy library, with its grand piano, is a wonderful place to relax and listen to music by the fireside. A spacious, elegant dining room includes a smaller private dining area for residents to enjoy meals with family and friends. Upstairs, residents can watch movies, enjoy conversation and play games in the living room, which offers a large-screen TV – the perfect spot for such annual events as our Super Bowl parties! Our Coca-Cola room is another perfect place for social gatherings, and for the convenience of residents, we have our own chapel and beauty salon. We also have a small garden out front, which a resident who loves to garden takes care of, and tables set up out front for our smokers.
