Emeritus at Medina Set on six beautifully landscaped grounds with an outdoor patio and paved walking paths, Emeritus at Medina is one of Medina County's premier assisted living and Alzheimer's communities. Located near I-71, yet nestled in a rural setting, our senior community offers 90 apartments on one floor for easy access. While we are located in a rural area, Emeritus at Medina is convenient to Stop-N-Go, McDonalds, Subway, Hungry Howie's Pizza and First Merit. Several parks are close by, including Buckeye Woods Park, Chippewa Lake, Hubbard Valley Park and River Styx Park. Our senior retirement community is also convenient to Medina General Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital. Our community is an all brick assisted living community consisting of 90 senior apartments. We offer four sizes/styles of apartments. We have 24 hour on duty nurses and resident assistants. Our residents can receive up to six levels of care with in our assisted living neighborhood. In addition, we have a secured Alzheimer’s/dementia community which provides increased care, and an eight bed inpatient hospice unit operated by Hospice of Medina County. All of these living options and care levels allow each resident to have their own individual plan to meet their personal needs. It allows each resident to stay as independent as possible.
