Brian Center Nursing Care/Shamrock's resident-care program aims to address the specific healthcare needs of each individual. We strive to enrich the lives of our residents through the spectrum of nursing, rehabilitation and restorative programs. We focus on people, our residents, their lives, their health and their families.

NURSING & REHAB,
- Our interdisciplinary team's goal is to develop an individualized plan of care for each resident. The plan of care is revised and updated regularly to asist our residents in reaching the maximum potential possible.
- Activities are an integral part of a resident's daily life. We offer a comprehensive activity program in a group setting or on an individual basis.
- Physical Therapy treatment may include wound care, progressive exercise programs, functional mobility training, neuromuscular re-education or modalities including electrical stimulation, heat and cold, diathermy and ultrasound.
- Occupational Therapy is therapy based on meaningful activities of daily life, self-care skills, education, work or social interaction. These activities enable or encourage participation in life despite impairments or limitations in physical or mental functioning.
- Our speech therapy is therapy that concentrates on communication skills, cognitive skills, and swallowing. We offer swallowing therapy using the Vital Stim Unit. Communication, cognition and swallowing are all essential to improving overall quality of life.
