A brighter future begins with the steps you take today

The firm was originally formed in November 1979 when Roy Booth, Jack Harrington, and Frank Johns joined together in law practice following a division of the law firm of Booth Fish Simpson Harrison & Hall. The firm first occupied quarters on the fourth floor of the Butler Building at 430 W. Friendly Avenue. The firm moved to 239 N. Edgeworth Street in 1980. In 1980, Frank Campbell joined the firm following his tenure as a District Court judge, and we began practicing as Booth Harrington Johns & Campbell. Dennis Toman joined the firm as a partner in 1994. Roy Booth passed away in 1995, and Frank Campbell withdrew from law practice in 1995 to become a full-time mediator with Mediation, Inc. Upon Campbells departure, the name of the firm was then changed to Booth Harrington Johns & Toman L.L.P. In 2002, with the departure of Dennis Toman, the firm name was changed to Booth Harrington & Johns, L.L.P. In the past, the firm has offered a wide range of general and specialized legal services. We now offer civil litigation services in state and federal court for business disputes and injury cases, elder law, estate planning, tax planning, guardianship, trust and probate services, corporate and commercial services, and administrative practice in areas of education and disability law. The firm no longer serves clients in areas of family law, residential and commercial real estate closings, collections, criminal and traffic cases, and immigration law. We maintain offices in Greensboro at 239 N. Edgeworth Street and in Charlotte at 6210 Fairview Road, Ste 200.
