Elmcroft's Heartland Village Memory Care Community offers a 'person-centered' approach to caring for those living with Alzheimer's or other dementia. Our unique program allows us to care for our residents as we would a beloved family member or close friend.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
ALZHEIMER'S,
- We appreciate the importance of the past in maintaining a healthy present. Our program is built around each individual's life history, current abilities and interests, and is geared toward maintaining abilities.
- Social opportunities, such as shopping, dining, and taking reminiscent drives to familiar places, allow residents to enjoy the world around them.
- Specialized training and a high staff-to-resident ratio allow Heartland Village caregivers to build on the current physical, mental, and language abilities of each resident, promoting awareness and a sense of fulfillment for each individual.
- We understand that the families of our Heartland Village residents need our support as well. We offer support groups and provide an environment of partnership in the care of their loved one.
- Elmcroft provides education to our Care Coordinators and families in order to create a better understanding of how to meet the needs of each resident and a better understanding of the disease process.
